Everything could happen in Nanjing at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Sharks and 9th ranked Jiangsu Dragons had identical 8-6 record. But Jiangsu Dragons were not able to use a home court advantage and were defeated by the opponent from Shanghai 116-101 on Tuesday night. Sharks outrebounded Jiangsu Dragons 56-40 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Jiangsu Dragons' players. American point guard Eric Bledsoe (185-1989, college: Kentucky) fired a double-double by scoring 51 points (!!!), 18 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. The former international Junwei Ren (202-1990) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Antonio Blakeney (193-1996, college: LSU) produced a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Xiaolong Cui (194-1999) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Jiangsu Dragons players scored in double figures. Sharks (9-6) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Jiangsu Dragons lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Jilin NE T.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
