Date: December 18, 2022
Very significant was Fubon Braves' (#2, 7-4) victory against 4th ranked Lioneers (4-5) 114-98. They outrebounded Lioneers 52-36 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fubon Braves players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Lioneers' players. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds by American guard Terrico White (196-1990, college: Ole Miss) did not help to save the game for Lioneers. The former international power forward Will Artino (211-1992, college: Creighton) added 13 points and 15 rebounds. Five Lioneers players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fubon Braves maintains second position with 7-4 record having just one point less than leader Kings. Lioneers lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with five games lost. They share the position with Dreamers. Fubon Braves' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Taipei to the arena Kings.
