The game in Kaohsiung supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Fubon Braves (6-4) played at the court of 6th ranked Steelers (1-8). Fubon Braves smashed Steelers 114-80. Fubon Braves made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Fubon Braves outrebounded Steelers 52-36 including a 38-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Steelers' players. It was a great evening for American power forward Chris Johnson (210-1985, college: LSU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). His fellow American import forward Michael Singletary (198-1988, college: Texas Tech) helped adding 25 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. Jamaican-American power forward Femi Olujobi (206-1996, college: DePaul, agency: Slash Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds and American Aaron Harrison (198-1994, college: Kentucky, agency: Slash Sports) scored 21 points and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fubon Braves maintains second place with 6-4 record having just one point less than leader Kings. Steelers at the other side stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. Fubon Braves will play against Lioneers (#4) in Hsinchu in the next round.
