Regular Season Round 11: Kings - Pilots 74-88

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Kings (6-3) against third ranked Pilots on Saturday night. Pilots were defeated by third ranked Pilots (5-3) 88-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kings. Pilots dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Kings' 30. The former international forward Kuan-Chuan Chen (197-2001) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 6 rebounds. Palestinian power forward Sani Sakakini (204-1988) contributed with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Pilots players scored in double figures. American Austin Daye (209-1988, college: Gonzaga, agency: Slash Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and American-British center Byron Mullens (213-1989, college: Ohio St., agency: BeoBasket) added 5 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Kings. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pilots have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 5-3 record behind leader Kings. Kings at the other side still keep top position with three games lost. Pilots are looking forward to face Dreamers (#5) in Changhua in the next round. Kings will play at home against Steelers (#6) and are hoping to win this game.
