Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked San-en NP (9-11) beat on the road 7th ranked Kyoto H. (7-13) 92-85 on Saturday. San-en NP looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Isaiah Hicks (206-1994, college: UNC) who scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Filipino guard Ferdinand Ravena (189-1996) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. San-en NP's coach Branislav Vicentic used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Mali power forward Cheick Diallo (206-1996, college: Kansas) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds and American forward Jarrod Uthoff (203-1993, college: Iowa) added 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Five San-en NP and four Kyoto H. players scored in double figures. San-en NP maintains fifth position with 9-11 record, which they share with Osaka E. and Akita NH.
