Regular Season Round 19: Fukuoka R. - Saga B. 41-81

No shocking result in a game when first ranked Saga B. (16-5) smashed on the road 5th ranked Fukuoka R. (8-13) 81-41 on Sunday. Saga B. held Fukuoka R. to an opponent 20.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 55.8 percent accuracy of the winners and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Saga B.. They maintain first place with 16-5 record, which they share with Koshigaya A. and Chiba. Fukuoka R. lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Kagawa FA and Fukushima. Saga B. will meet at home league's second-placed Nagasaki in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Fukuoka R. will play against Tokyo Z and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
