The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Aquas (5-3) against fifth ranked GhostHawks on Sunday night. GhostHawks were edged by fifth ranked GhostHawks (3-4) 119-118. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Aquas. GhostHawks looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Aquas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Han-sheng Lee (177-1994) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Maltese center Samuel Deguara (230-1991) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Five GhostHawks players scored in double figures. GhostHawks' coach Chih-Wei Wu used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American-Filipino guard Jason Brickman (183-1991, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) replied with a triple-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists and Lithuanian center Mindaugas Kupsas (216-1991, agency: BIG) added 30 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Aquas. GhostHawks maintains fifth position with 3-4 record. Defending champion Aquas still keep top place with three games lost. GhostHawks are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Leopards (#6) in Taoyuan in the next round. Aquas will have a break next round.
