Regular Season Round 10: Dreamers - Fubon Braves 97-94

The most exciting game of round 10 in the PLeague+ ended with only three-point defeat of much higher ranked Fubon Braves (5-4) to fifth ranked Dreamers (4-4) 97-94 on Sunday evening. Dreamers outrebounded Fubon Braves 55-42 including a 41-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American center Brandon Gilbeck (213-1996, college: W.Illinois) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 20 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. Naturalized American swingman Kenny Chien (185-1995, college: Broward CC) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American power forward Chris Johnson (210-1985, college: LSU) produced 31 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Michael Singletary (198-1988, college: Texas Tech) added 10 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists respectively for lost side. Five Dreamers and four Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Dreamers moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Lioneers. Fubon Braves at the other side keep the second position with four games lost. Dreamers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Fubon Braves will play on the road against Steelers in Kaohsiung and are hoping to win this game.
