The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Hitachi SRT (10-7) in Tokyo on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked FE Nagoya (9-8) 74-67. They made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. American forward Jeremy Jones (201-1996, college: Gonzaga) stepped up and scored 24 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import forward Andrew Randall (198-1990, college: Temple) chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward James McAdoo (206-1993, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and guard Kaito Morizane (186-1997) scored 7 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. FE Nagoya moved-up to third place, which they share with Tochigi Brex and Yokohama BC. Hitachi SRT at the other side still keeps top position with seven games lost. They share it with Kawasaki BT. FE Nagoya will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Hitachi SRT will play again at home against FE Nagoya and is hoping to win this game.
