The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked ChelSU's (4-10) home loss to ninth ranked Gotobeles (6-8) 65-93 on Thursday. Gotobeles dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to ChelSU's 28. They outrebounded ChelSU 59-28 including a 29-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Swingman Eset Zharkylov (195-1998) fired a double-double by scoring 32 points and 19 rebounds for the winners. Forward Adil Narimanov (196-2001) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Gotobeles players scored in double figures. Gotobeles' coach Alimzhan Kuspanov felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Artem Pedko (191-2000) produced 25 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Alexandr Sidorov (182-2003) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Gotobeles moved-up to sixth place. ChelSU lost their third game in a row. ChelSU at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. Gotobeles will meet league's leader Bars in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ChelSU will play against Caspiy Aktau (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
