Regular Season Round 8: Fubon Braves - Dreamers 90-87

Important game to mention about was the one when second ranked Fubon Braves (5-2) saved a 3-point victory edging 4th ranked Dreamers (3-4) 90-87 on Tuesday evening. Fubon Braves forced 26 Dreamers turnovers. Dreamers were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Chris Johnson (210-1985, college: LSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and forward Michael Singletary (198-1988, college: Texas Tech) who added 14 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. Center Brandon Gilbeck (213-1996, college: W.Illinois) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks and forward Malcolm Miller (201-1993, college: Holy Cross) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Fubon Braves used an opportunity after Kings lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Dreamers lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with four games lost. Fubon Braves' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Taipei to the arena Kings.
