B2 League top team - Saga B. (14-5) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat fifth ranked Nishinomiya S. (8-11) in Hyogo 83-71. Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-1990) nailed 31 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and Canadian forward Mikyle McIntosh (201-1994, college: Oregon) accounted for 18 points and 11 rebounds. Slovenian center Ziga Dimec (210-1993) came up with 14 points and 7 rebounds and the former international power forward Ryota Nakanishi (199-1988) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Nishinomiya S. in the defeat. Four Nishinomiya S. players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Saga B. have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-5 record, which they share with Chiba. Nishinomiya S. lost third consecutive game.
