Regular Season Round 16: Nishinomiya S. - Saga B. 85-89

There was no surprise in Hyogo where 4th ranked Nishinomiya S. (8-10) was defeated by first ranked Saga B. (13-5) 89-85 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-1990) who helped to win the game recording 32 points and 7 rebounds and American Chase Fieler (202-1992, college: FGCU) who added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Saga B. players scored in double figures. At the losing side Slovenian center Ziga Dimec (210-1993) responded with 16 points and 8 rebounds and American forward DeQuan Jones (203-1990, college: Miami, FL) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Saga B. have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-5 record, which they share with Chiba. Loser Nishinomiya S. keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Fukuoka R. and Aomori W.. Saga B. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Nishinomiya S. will play again against the league's leader Saga B. (#1) and hope to secure a win.
