The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Suns as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Suns defeated 5th ranked Leopards in Taichung 93-87. Suns looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Leopards' players. 24 personal fouls committed by Leopards helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Diamond Stone (208-1997, college: Maryland) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 20 rebounds and 4 assists. Iranian-British center Aaron Geramipoor (213-1992, college: Seton Hall) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. American Deyonta Davis (211-1996, college: Michigan St., agency: MSG) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 22 rebounds and 9 blocks and the other American import Troy Williams (201-1994, college: Indiana, agency: MSG) added 32 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Leopards. Suns have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Leopards at the other side dropped to the bottom place with three games lost. They share the position with Tainan GH. Leopards will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Suns will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Aquas in Kaohsiung.
