Regular Season Round 6: Dreamers - Kings 102-82

Round 6 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Kings (3-1). They were crushed by third ranked Dreamers (3-1) 102-82 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Kings. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Dreamers dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Kings' 34. Dreamers forced 22 Kings turnovers. American center Brandon Gilbeck (213-1996, college: W.Illinois) had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 22 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Chun-Chi Lin (175-1998) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American-British center Byron Mullens (213-1989, college: Ohio St., agency: BeoBasket) with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds and American swingman Kenny Manigault (195-1991, college: Pikeville) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dreamers keep a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Kings. Kings will play next round against Pilots trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Dreamers will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Lioneers in Hsinchu.
