Regular Season Round 13: Hitachi SRT - Hokkaido L. 90-85

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Hitachi SRT as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Hitachi SRT defeated 6th ranked Hokkaido L. in Tokyo 90-85. Hitachi SRT looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward James McAdoo (206-1993, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. His fellow American import Ryan Kelly (211-1991, college: Duke) contributed with 22 points and 4 steals for the winners. Five Hitachi SRT players scored in double figures. Hitachi SRT's coach Tsutomu Isa used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Shawn Long (208-1993, college: Louisiana, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with 23 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and Australian forward Brock Motum (208-1990, college: WSU) added 17 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Hokkaido L.As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with FE Nagoya and San-en NP. Hokkaido L. at the other side keeps the sixth place with nine games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Hokkaido L. will play next round against league's leader Chiba Jets trying to get back on the winning streak. Hitachi SRT will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked San-en NP in Hamamatsu.
