No shocking result in a game when first ranked Chiba Jets (9-3) smashed on the road 7th ranked Toyama G. (3-9) 82-55 on Saturday. Chiba Jets looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Yuki Togashi (170-1993) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 assists and American guard Christopher Smith (193-1994, college: Utah St.) who added 20 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Chiba Jets players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Brice Johnson (206-1994, college: UNC) with 14 points and 8 rebounds and center Samba Faye (205-1987) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Chiba Jets maintains first position with 9-3 record, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Toyama G. keeps the seventh place with nine games lost. They share the position with Sendai 89ers.
