There was no surprise when 8th ranked Niigata A. (1-11) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Yokohama BC (5-7) 95-68 on Saturday. Yokohama BC outrebounded Niigata A. 43-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Czech Patrik Auda (204-1989, college: Seton Hall, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 rebounds and American Devin Oliver (204-1992, college: Dayton) who added 16 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Jamaican center Kofi Cockburn (213-1999, college: Illinois) with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds and American forward Keve Aluma (206-1998, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Yokohama BC moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Akita NH and Shinshu BW. Niigata A. lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 11 games lost. Yokohama BC will again meet at home Niigata A. (#8) in the next round. Niigata A. will have a break next round.
