Regular Season Round 13: Nishinomiya S. - Fukuoka R. 74-81

Another exciting game was played in Hyogo between fifth ranked Fukuoka R. and 3rd placed Nishinomiya S. where Fukuoka R. (8-7) beat Nishinomiya S. (7-8) on the road 81-74. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Jordan Glynn (200-1989, college: SF Austin) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. Center Drew Gordon (206-1990, college: N.Mexico) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Fukuoka R. players scored in double figures. Forward Trey Porter (208-1996, college: Nevada) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and forward DeQuan Jones (203-1990, college: Miami, FL) added 15 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Nishinomiya S.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fukuoka R. have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 8-7 record. Nishinomiya S. lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with eight games lost. They share it with Yamagata. Fukuoka R. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Nishinomiya S. will play on the road against Kagawa FA in Takamatsu and hopes to get back on the winning track.
