Date: November 19, 2022
Very significant was Kings' (#1, 5-2) victory against 4th ranked Dreamers (3-4) 101-89. They outrebounded Dreamers 55-40 including 16 on the offensive glass. Kings looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-British center Byron Mullens (213-1989, college: Ohio St., agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Chin-Min Yang (190-1984) who added 25 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American center Brandon Gilbeck (213-1996, college: W.Illinois) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Malcolm Miller (201-1993, college: Holy Cross) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Dreamers' coach Kyle Julius rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kings maintains first position with 5-2 record, which they share with Fubon Braves. Dreamers lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with four games lost. Kings will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dreamers will play on the road against Pilots (#5) in Taoyuan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
