Very predictable result when third ranked Gunma CT (7-3) rolled over on the road 8th ranked Niigata A. (1-9) 100-72 on Saturday. Gunma CT shot 61.7 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Gunma CT looked well-organized offensively handing out 39 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Niigata A.'s players. American guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-1990, college: Miami, FL) notched 24 points and 7 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and naturalized American forward Michael Parker (202-1981, college: Evergreen St.) supported him with 9 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Even 21 points by guard Tensho Sugimoto (185-1998) did not help to save the game for Niigata A.. Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-1993, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) added 7 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
