Regular Season Round 11: Saga B. - Kagawa FA 90-52

Rather expected game when 6th ranked Kagawa FA (4-9) was smashed on the road by third ranked Saga B. (8-5) 90-52 on Sunday. Saga B. outrebounded Kagawa FA 49-26 including a 19-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-1990) who led the winners and scored 18 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Canadian forward Mikyle McIntosh (201-1994, college: Oregon) accounted for 25 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Four Saga B. players scored in double figures. British forward Myles Hesson (198-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Australian forward Rhys Vague (206-1996) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Kagawa FA in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Saga B. maintains third place with 8-5 record having just three points less than leader Ehime OV, which they share with Kumamoto V. Loser Kagawa FA keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with Fukushima. Saga B. will meet league's second-placed Nagasaki on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kagawa FA will play against the league's leader Ehime OV (#1) and hope to secure a win.
