Regular Season Round 15: FiberXers - Rain or Shine 102-101

Eighth-ranked Rain or Shine (4-6) gave a tough game to third ranked FiberXers (8-2) in Makati. FiberXers managed to secure only one-point victory 102-101. However their fans expected much easier game. FiberXers players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Quincy Miller-Scott (206-1992, college: Baylor, agency: Slash Sports) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Jeron Alvin Teng (190-1994) accounted for 20 points for the winning side. American forward Ryan Pearson (198-1990, college: GMU, agency: Inception Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and guard Gian Mamuyac (180-1999) added 24 points respectively for Rain or Shine in the defeat. Five FiberXers and four Rain or Shine players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. FiberXers have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Bay Area D. Rain or Shine at the other side keeps the eighth place with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
