They outrebounded Rain or Shine 65-38 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Rain or Shine was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Myles Powell (188-1997, college: Seton Hall) had a double-double by scoring 50 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Chinese center Chuanxing Liu (222-1997) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Guard Antonio Asistio (178-1995) responded with 20 points and 4 assists and guard Rey Nambatac (179-1994) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bay Area D. keeps a position of league leader, which they share with FiberXers. Rain or Shine at the other side keeps the seventh place with five games lost. They share the position with North Port.
