Regular Season Round 6: Al Riyadi - Dynamo 76-83

Undefeated Al Riyadi (4-1) recorded its first loss in Beirut. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Dynamo (4-1) 83-76. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Al Riyadi. Dynamo made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Al Riyadi 43-32 including 17 on the offensive glass. The former international swingman Ahmad Ibrahim (198-1992, college: Rice) scored 32 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Zach Lofton (193-1992, college: NM State, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) during the contest. The best for the losing side was international guard Ali Mansour (185-1998) with 16 points and 9 assists and the former international forward Hayk Gyokchyan (203-1990, college: F&M) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. Dynamo moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Al Riyadi. Dynamo will play against Liders (#7) in the next round. Al Riyadi will play against NSA (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
