First defeat of league's leader Aquas against N.Taipei CTBC 109-87 was the most important game of the last round. N.Taipei CTBC forced 23 Aquas turnovers. Strangely Aquas outrebounded N.Taipei CTBC 54-37 including a 22-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Aquas' players. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian Edgaras Zelionis (207-1989) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The former international point guard Wei-Han Lin (178-1990) contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Five N.Taipei CTBC players scored in double figures. Lithuanian center Mindaugas Mindaugas (216-1991, agency: BIG) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and American-Filipino guard Jason Brickman (183-1991, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Aquas. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aquas will play next round against strong Suns trying to make it back to the top of the standings. N.Taipei CTBC will try to continue on its current victory against Suns in Taichung.
