Important game to mention about took place in Taiyuan. Second ranked Loongs (7-2) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 10th ranked Ducks (5-4) 97-95 on Thursday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Loongs players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Kahlil Felder (175-1995, college: Oakland) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists and the former international forward Lin Chang (206-1988, college: LBSU) who added 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists during the contest. The former international point guard Shuo Fang (189-1990) responded with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Nick Johnson (191-1992, college: Arizona) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Ducks' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Loongs have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-2 record having five points less than leader Zhejiang GB., which they share with Liaoning FL. Ducks at the other side dropped to the eighth place with four games lost. They share the position with Jilin NE T.. Loongs will play against Jiangsu Dragons (#5) in Nanjing in the next round. Ducks will play on the road against Jilin Tigers in Changchun and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
