Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Niigata A. (1-8) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Kawasaki BT (5-4) 82-64 on Wednesday. Kawasaki BT looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American power forward Jordan Heath (208-1991, college: Canisius, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up and scored 29 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import power forward Michael Young (206-1994, college: Pittsburgh) chipped in 15 points. Four Kawasaki BT players scored in double figures. Kawasaki BT's coach Kenji Sato allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-1993, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and American forward Keve Aluma (206-1998, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Kawasaki BT moved-up to second place, which they share with FE Nagoya and Hitachi SRT. Niigata A. lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. Kawasaki BT will meet league's leader Nagoya DD on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Niigata A. will play against Gunma CT (#3) and hope to win that game.
