Bottom-ranked Shinagawa (0-7) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to fourteenth ranked Kanazawa (2-5) 79-67. Kanazawa forced 20 Shinagawa turnovers. Ukrainian point guard Igor Boyarkin (182-1995, agency: BIG) notched 22 points and 9 assists to lead the effort and Ukrainian forward Oleksandr Antypov (203-1995, agency: BIG) supported him with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Even a double-double of 14 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists by American forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) did not help to save the game for Shinagawa. Canadian center Renaldo Dixon (206-1990, college: NM State) added 13 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kanazawa moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Toyoda and Yamaguchi. Shinagawa at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Kanazawa will again play against bottom-ranked Shinagawa (#16) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Shinagawa will have a break next round.
