The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Flying Leopards (5-1) in Yingkou on Thursday night. Hosts were edged by fourth ranked Loongs (4-1) 110-107. Loongs looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Flying Leopards helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard Kahlil Felder (175-1995, college: Oakland) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 7 rebounds and 13 assists. Ning Zhang (192-1997) contributed with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Loongs players scored in double figures. American guard Kyle Fogg (191-1990, college: Arizona) answered with 39 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals and the former international center Hao Fu (208-1997) added 19 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Flying Leopards. Loongs have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Defending champion Flying Leopards dropped to the second position with one game lost. Loongs are looking forward to face league's leader Golden Bulls in Hangzhou in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Flying Leopards will play on the road against Sturgeons in Jinjiang and are hoping to win this game.
