There was a surprise result when eighth ranked Yokohama BC (2-4) beat at home second-best Nagoya DD (4-2) 88-78 on Sunday. Yokohama BC looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The former international guard Yuki Kawamura (169-2001) had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American center Charles Jackson (208-1993, college: Tenn Tech) chipped in 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest.
