No shocking result in a game in Okinawa where fourth ranked Ryukyu GK (5-1) smashed 6th ranked Niigata A. (1-5) 99-65 on Sunday. Ryukyu GK dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Niigata A.'s 24. They outrebounded Niigata A. 34-22 including 29 on the defensive glass. Ryukyu GK looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American power forward Josh Duncan (203-1986) scored 26 points to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward Allen Durham (198-1988, college: Grace Christian) chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Durham is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Ryukyu GK players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Keigo Kimura (188-2000, college: St.Joseph, CT) with 21 points and 4 assists and American forward Keve Aluma (206-1998, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ryukyu GK have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with FE Nagoya and Shimane SM. Loser Niigata A. dropped to the seventh place with five games lost. They share the position with Toyama G..
