Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Tochigi Brex and 6th ranked Sendai 89ers had identical 2-3 record. But Sendai 89ers were not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Tochigi 63-59 on Saturday night. Tochigi Brex outrebounded Sendai 89ers 40-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American power forward Josh Scott (208-1993, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Tochigi Brex have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains fifth place with 3-3 record. Newly promoted Sendai 89ers dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
