Flying Leopards edged Ducks in Yingkou 83-81. 24 personal fouls committed by Ducks helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international Ailun Guo (189-1993) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international point guard Jiwei Zhao (184-1995) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Israeli-American forward TJ Leaf (208-1997, college: UCLA) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 20 rebounds and the former international guard Yuxiang Tian (185-1992) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Ducks. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ducks will play next round against Blue Whales trying to get back on the winning streak. Flying Leopards will try to continue on its current victory against Eagles in Qingdao.
