Regular Season Round 3: Iwate - Shinagawa 100-67
Date: October 9, 2022
No shocking result in a game when Iwate (3-1) outleveled at home Shinagawa (0-4) 100-67 on Sunday. Iwate dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Shinagawa's 28. They outrebounded Shinagawa 39-22 including a 28-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Kristian Doolittle (201-1997, college: Oklahoma, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Beninese power forward Muusa Dama (207-1996, college: EIU, agency: Blacktop Management) chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Ryota Nagasawa (189-1997) added 14 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Iwate will meet Tachikawa (#14) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Shinagawa will play against Shanan Utd and hopes to get finally their first victory.
