Regular Season Round 4: Kyoto H. - FE Nagoya 58-73

No shocking result in a game when top-ranked FE Nagoya (4-0) beat on the road 5th ranked Kyoto H. (2-2) 73-58 on Sunday. The winners were led by American forward Andrew Randall (198-1990, college: Temple) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and international Luke Evans (203-1991, college: CBU) supported him with 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Four FE Nagoya players scored in double figures. Even 18 points and 7 assists by point guard Yoshiaki Kubota (175-1997) did not help to save the game for Kyoto H.. American forward Jarrod Uthoff (203-1993, college: Iowa) added 14 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. FE Nagoya have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted FE Nagoya maintains first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Shimane SM. Kyoto H. at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with San-en NP and Shiga L-Stars. FE Nagoya will meet at home league's second-placed Kawasaki BT in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kyoto H. will play against Sea Horses M. in Kariya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
