Regular Season Round 3: Saga B. - Bambitious N. 94-73

Not a big story in a game when Bambitious N. (1-3) was outplayed on the road by Saga B. (3-1) 94-73 on Saturday. Saga B. looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Bambitious N.'s players. It was a great evening for Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-1990) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. American Chase Fieler (202-1992, college: FGCU) helped adding 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Saga B. players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Christian James (194-1996, college: Oklahoma) with 18 points, 5 assists and 6 steals and point guard Kaito Nakazawa (183-1999) scored 17 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Saga B. will meet at home Koshigaya A. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bambitious N. will play against Ehime OV (#1) in Matsuyama and hope to win that game.
