The game in Zahle supposed to be also quite interesting. Dynamo played at the court of Atlas. Dynamo smashed Atlas 92-53 on Saturday. Dynamo dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Atlas' 18. Dynamo forced 21 Atlas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Atlas' players. American guard Zach Lofton (193-1992, college: NM State, agency: Slash Sports) notched 27 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals to lead the effort and international power forward Karim Ezzeddine (206-1997, college: N.Mexico) supported him with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Dynamo's coach Jad El Hajj felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by American guard Myles Carter (185-1999, college: Delaware St.) did not help to save the game for Atlas. Naturalized Brazilian center Thiago Makhlouf (210-1987) added 3 points and 17 rebounds for the hosts. Dynamo's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Beirut Antranik.
