Regular Season Round 3: Fukushima - Aomori W. 54-71

Another exciting game was between Aomori W. and Fukushima where Aomori W. (2-2) beat Fukushima (1-3) on the road with 17-point difference 71-54. Aomori W. dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Fukushima's 26. They outrebounded Fukushima 48-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American center Max Hisatake (203-1998, college: IlIinois Tech) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Alex Davis (206-1992, college: Fresno St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Venezuelan center Gregory Echenique (206-1990, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with 13 points and 6 rebounds and Naoaki Hashimoto (183-1992) added 12 points in the effort for Fukushima. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aomori W. will play against Nagasaki on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Fukushima will play against Chiba and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
