Regular Season Round 2: Byblos - NSA 67-84

No shocking result in a game when NSA beat on the road Byblos 84-67 on Friday. NSA dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Byblos' 28. They outrebounded Byblos 41-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. NSA looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Byblos' players. American forward Anthony Fairley (203-1999, college: Miles) notched a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and the former international swingman Nadim Souaid (192-1986) supported him with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Four NSA players scored in double figures. NSA's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 23 points and 5 steals by Mohamed Skaf did not help to save the game for Byblos. Rami Abou Tanos added 17 points for the hosts. NSA will meet at home Atlas in the next round where they are favorite. Byblos will have a break next round.
