The most exciting game of round 2 in the B1 League took place in Chiba. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of Osaka E. to Chiba Jets 89-88 on Sunday evening. Guard DJ Newbill (193-1992, college: Penn St.) responded with 23 points and 5 assists and power forward Sean OMara (208-1995, college: Xavier) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Five Chiba Jets and four Osaka E. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Chiba Jets is looking forward to face Alvark Tokyo on the road in the next round. Osaka E. will play against Tochigi Brex and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
