Important game to mention about took place in Mito. FE Nagoya saved a 3-point victory on the road edging Ibaraki R. 72-69 on Sunday evening. International Luke Evans (203-1991, college: CBU) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward Andrew Randall (198-1990, college: Temple) supported him with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds by American Eric Jacobsen (208-1994, college: Arizona St.) did not help to save the game for Ibaraki R.. His fellow American import forward Chehales Tapscott (195-1990, college: Portland St.) added 18 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. FE Nagoya will play against Kyoto H. on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Ibaraki R. will play against Toyama G. to get more than just one victory in their record.
