Everything went according to plan in Saporro where Akita NH outscored Hokkaido L. 97-74 on Sunday. Akita NH had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. Akita NH looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Turkish Kerem Kanter (207-1995, college: Xavier) who scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. American Stanton Kidd (202-1992, college: Colorado St.) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field).
