Regular Season Round 1: Gunma CT - Shiga L-Stars 88-80

Gunma CT used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Shiga 92-71 on Saturday night. Gunma CT looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American center Kaleb Tarczewski (212-1993, college: Arizona) nailed 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side and naturalized American forward Michael Parker (202-1981, college: Evergreen St.) accounted for 13 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Four Gunma CT players scored in double figures. American forward Kelvin Martin (196-1989, college: Charleston So.) came up with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Filipino guard Kiefer Isaac Ravena (181-1993) added 11 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for Shiga L-Stars in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gunma CT will again meet at home Shiga L-Stars in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Shiga L-Stars will have a break next round.
