Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Singapore: Hornets and Tong Whye (#3). Hornets (0-0) smashed visiting Tong Whye (3-3) by 22 points 78-56. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tong Whye. They outrebounded Tong Whye 46-34 including 36 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by Malaysian Russell Low-Wen who scored that evening 20 points and 9 rebounds and Kelvin Lim-Hong supported him with 9 points and 8 rebounds. Even 17 points by Zhen Zhen-Yu did not help to save the game for Tong Whye. Wooi Khaw-Yeong added 4 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hornets maintains th position with 0-0 record. Tong Whye at the other side dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Hornets will play against GBA Hoops in the next round. Tong Whye's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Singapore Tagawa.
