The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Bangkok Tigers (9-4) played at the court of 6th ranked SWU (3-10). Bangkok Tigers smashed SWU 84-57 on Sunday. Bangkok Tigers forced 25 SWU turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by SWU's players. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Panthawat Techasamran who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and Nattapat Biasumrit who added 10 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Bangkok Tigers' coach N. Wongwat felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side guard Natthaworn Banjathon (179) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and power forward Noppachai Thongpool (190) scored 14 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks. Five Bangkok Tigers and four SWU players scored in double figures. Bangkok Tigers moved-up to third place, which they share with TGE. SWU lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Bangkok Tigers' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Bangkok Hitech.
