Second Stage Round 3: Hitech - SWU 86-64

Hitech (11-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed SWU (3-9) in Bangkok 86-64. Hitech had a 34-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a quality performance for power forward Khunnarong Pratesrat who led the winners and scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Sukhdave Ghogar (194-1990) accounted for 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side. Five Hitech players scored in double figures. Hitech's coach Manid Niyomyindee felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Pongsatorn Tabtim (187-1998) came up with 25 points and guard Natthaworn Banjathon (179) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for SWU in the defeat. Hitech will play against Dunkin' Raptors (#5) in the next round. SWU will play against Bangkok Tigers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
