Regular Season Round 6: Devil Rays - Shoot it Dragon 116-90

TBL top team - Devil Rays (6-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Shoot it Dragon (0-6) 116-90. Devil Rays dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Shoot it Dragon's 32. Devil Rays forced 29 Shoot it Dragon turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Shoot it Dragon's players. American point guard Taishaun Johnson (183-1994, college: PVAMU) notched 38 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals to lead the effort and international Moses Morgan (198-1992, college: CS Fullerton) supported him with 27 points and 14 rebounds. Johnson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Devil Rays players scored in double figures. Devil Rays' coach S. Premprapan felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 51 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds by the former international point guard Frederick Jones-Goldstein (178-1988, college: USA) did not help to save the game for Shoot it Dragon. Swingman Panthawat Techasamran added 7 points and 6 rebounds. Devil Rays have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Devil Rays maintains first position with 6-0 record. Shoot it Dragon at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. They share the position with T-REX. Devil Rays will play against Thunders (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Shoot it Dragon will play against T-REX and hopes to get finally their first victory.
