Regular Season Round 22: Lioneers - Fubon Braves 108-99

An interesting game for Lioneers (20-10) which played against their biggest opponent Fubon Braves (18-12). First ranked Lioneers managed to get a 9-point victory 108-99. Lioneers made 18-of-20 charity shots (90.0 percent) during the game. American Nick Faust (198-1993, college: LBSU) had a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Mike Bruesewitz (199-1990, college: Wisconsin) chipped in 28 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international guard Ting-En Lai (176-1996) responded with 22 points and Ukrainian power forward Igor Zaytsev (210-1989, agency: BIG) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Four Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lioneers have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 20-10 record. Fubon Braves at the other side keep the second place with 12 games lost.
