Fifth-ranked Leopards (8-22) made lots of trouble for second ranked Suns (20-10) in Taoyuan on Friday. Suns managed to secure only two-point victory 127-125. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Leopards. Suns made 25-of-32 free shots (78.1 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Leopards helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American guard Anthony Tucker (193-1989, college: MSUM) who had a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Palestinian power forward Sani Sakakini (204-1988) chipped in a double-double by scoring 25 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Suns' coach Iurgi Caminos used entire bench in such tough game. American Troy Williams (201-1994, college: Indiana, agency: MSG) produced a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 17 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks and his fellow American import Deyonta Davis (208-1996, college: Michigan St., agency: MSG) added 23 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Suns. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Suns maintains second position with 20-10 record having just three points less than leader Kaohsiung A. Leopards at the other side keep the fifth place with 22 games lost.
